Our Doctors

Dr. Peter Mocklis

Dr. Mocklis received his undergraduate degree from Hobart and William-Smith College in Geneva, NY. During his graduate studies at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, he completed externships at the Brighton Marine Hospital in Boston, MA, the Boston VA Hospital, the New England Eye Institute in Boston, MA and Western Massachusetts State Hospital in Westfield, MA. He is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the AOA, and the New Hampshire Optometric Association.

Dr. Mocklis is devoted to his family, his patients and his staff. When he’s not at work, he likes being active outdoors -- kayaking or boating with family, playing pickup basketball with friends or participating in the Seacoast Century bike race (which he’s done every year and plans to do so until he’s 80). Dr. Mocklis is a native of Greece and was born on an island. He speaks the language fluently and returns to Greece every few years to visit family.

Dr. Marcy Schultenover

A native of Michigan, Dr. Marcy Schultenover attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for her undergraduate degree. While completing her graduate degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, she had externships in the Pediatric and Low Vision Specialties Clinic in the New England Eye Institute in Boston, MA, the Newington, CT VA Hospital, and the Dorchester House Community Clinic in Dorchester, MA. She holds current memberships in the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the AOA and the New Hampshire Optometric Association.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Schultenover is more than likely playing taxi driver to her two teenage children or watching, cheering or championing their athletic endeavors. She’s health-focused and tries to make exercise and healthy eating a priority, often cooking with her daughter who has an affinity for ethnic dishes. Dr. Schultenover loves to travel and plans family trips that offer a variety of different experiences, cultural exposure and cuisines.

Dr. Wendy Crusberg

Dr. Wendy Crusberg studied biochemistry at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH, before attending the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree.  Her cinical externships included the Bedford VA Medical Center in Bedford, MA, South Boston Community Health Center in South Boston, MA, Lahey Clinic in Peabody, MA, and Merrimack Vision Care in Manchester, NH. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, New Hampshire Optometric Association, Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity New England, and is board certified through the American Board of Optometry.

Outside of work, Dr. Crusberg doesn't stay still for long. A native of NH, she takes to the outdoors in all weather, skiing, snowboarding, hiking and running. She has completed several marathons and can often be found participating in local community fun-runs or jogging around town with her black Lab-Boxer rescue dog. When not on the go, Dr. Crusberg enjoys curling up on the couch with a good book or experimenting in the kitchen with a new recipe.

Dr. Michael Buckley

Dr. Buckley has an interesting and diverse educational background. Prior to receiving a graduate degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s in Information Systems. During his training, he completed externships at Merrimack Vision Care; The Veteran’s Administration in Manchester, NH; East Boston Neighborhood Health Center and Lahey Clinic in Peabody, MA. While Dr. Buckley provides vision care for patients of all types, he specializes in specialty contact lens fittings and treating patients with glaucoma.

In his free time, Dr. Buckley enjoys working out, lifting weights and traveling to faraway places with his wife and daughters. He hopes to visit Germany someday. When he’s home, chances are he’s flanked by one or both of his Himalayan cats and is deeply engrossed in a supernatural-themed video game.
