Dr. Sutherland

Dr. Lyudmila Sutherland received her Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry and subsequently completed a residency with the VA Boston Healthcare System, specializing in primary care and low vision optometry. In practice, her interests are comprehensive eye care, contact lenses, and dry eye disease.

Dr. Sutherland is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometry and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Sutherland was born in the Ukraine and is fluent in Russian. Outside of optometry, Dr. Sutherland greatly enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, and young children, Aiden and Alexandra. Together, they enjoy traveling, kayaking, and trying out new foods at restaurants.
